What do you grow?
We raise eggs, meat chickens, lamb, strawberries, and a selection of veggies.
Our eggs layers are mostly Rhode Island Reds, and about 40% of the flock are a mix of Americauna, Cuckoo Maran, Speckled Sussex, and Leghorn.
How can I buy your meat, eggs, or produce?
Please purchase through the GrownBy app or website:
https://grownby.app/farms/granja-las-aguilas/shop
We have decided not to use the e-commerce provided through this website. GrownBy was designed by and for farmers, and will hopefully help us keep track of inventory, delivery schedules, and customers much better!
We will also be at the Southwest Market twice a month starting May 17. We will generally be there on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays. Exact dates to be posted by May 2025.

What does Granja Las Aguilas mean?
Where are you located?
Granja Las Aguilas is located on the traditional lands of the Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (also known as Dakota Sioux) and the Anishinaabeg (also known as Ojibwe or Chippewa). Our 33-acre farm is a one-hour drive from the the Twin Cities, and approximately 30 minutes northeast of Stillwater, in Amery Wisconsin. Our address is 311 130th St, Amery WI 54001.
Are you organic?
We use organic methods and certified organic inputs (e.g. fertilizer, animal feed, etc), but Granja Las Aguilas is not currently certified organic. The farm where Granja Las Aguilas is located was vacant for several years leading up to our purchase in 2022; prior to that it had cows pasturing on it organically. Many years ago (more than a decade) our fields were planted in conventional corn and soy. Now those fields are lush pasture full of clovers, alfafa, and a variety of grasses loved by livestock.
What are you doing in terms of good environmental practices?
- We protect our nearby waterways from livestock with a large setback (distance) and high-tensile fence that separates our pastures from the wetlands bordering our farm. We see dozens of varieties of birds and other creatures gracing our wetlands! Please come by for photography and general relaxation.
- We practice rotational and managed grazing for the health of our soil and animals.
- We have lots of milkweed and "weeds" beneficial to pollinators and insects, that we try to let stand whenever possible. Even the stand of milkweed that stubbornly inhabits the garden!
- We are constantly learning about new methods in regenerative agriculture, and how we can improve our processes.
Do you deliver?
We will be establishing a regular delivery schedule to communities (e.g. Minneapolis, St. Paul, and their suburbs) within the Twin Cities and other nearby towns where we hope to have regular customers (e.g. Stillwater and Hudson).
Please see our GrownBy shop for delivery options:

Can we come visit the farm?
We welcome visitors! Please contact us prior to visiting. Text or call (715) 255-0377, or email at [email protected], to set up a visit.
What's up with this website?
Our first priority was establishing a web prescence because that's how most customers will check out a farm and what it's about. Our second priority was establishing an online store because that's how people like to shop nowadays.
We felt ethically better about Big Cartel as an e-commerce provider than the big ones like Shopify or Wix, who are owned by corporations we don't feel good about. Big Cartel is an independent company that provides e-commerce and website services at an affordable price, mostly to artists and artisans.
We have decided in 2025 not to use the e-comm feature on this website, and instead to use the GrownBy shop linked above. We also take Venmo, check, and cash!

Cash or Check is great too!
($CashApp is also possible, just let us know)
